During his address to the Turkish-Georgian Business Council, Erdogan referred to incidents that occurred the other day in Ossetia. "We do not approve of the events in Ossetia. We find them very ugly. These endanger regional peace. All of the neighbors are making efforts to provide societal peace. It is considerably wrong to make calculations about Georgia's territorial integrity. Such things are also very ugly." Erdogan later told reporters, "These need to be accepted as the internal issues of Georgia, and help needs to be provided for a solution. We will find an opportunity to discuss these with Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit [to Turkey] in early September. We hope Russia will adopt the same view point."
