It is with the great pleasure that we announce the arrival of Scottish DJ A’la Fu, VJ and MCs Toastie and Juicy to stage two open-air hiphop nights on the Boulevard on 27 and 28 September, from 20:00 until 22:00 followed by DJ Черт with Lider FM taking over the decks for an hour until 23:00. The event will mark the 10th anniversary of the British Council’s successful work in Azerbaijan in the areas of learning, creativity and society and is supported by the Baku City Mayor’s office. Entry will be free. The British Council will officially launch its brand new web site at the events. Designed to be the virtual gateway to the contemporary UK, this site, presented in Azeri and English, gives you an access to information on education, learning, English language teaching as well as helpful links to find out more about all sides of contemporary Britain. We are now joining the British Council worldwide online network of 110 countries to deliver the information straight to the customer’s screen. One of the most important aspects of the project is that now our target audiences outside Baku will be able to benefit from most of our work! Information about the band Dee J A’la Fu, after doing his thing on the turntables for sometime decided to pack his record bags and pursue his craft in London where before long he connected with Big Dada and Ninja Tune record label, blazing a path worldwide and reaching such diverse places and spaces as Israel, Montenegro, Australia, U.S.A. and Hawaii Aloha. He then moved back to his hometown for a few years and successfully ran his own club night called ‘Le Tempo’ showcasing such acts as Jungle Brothers, DJ Krush, Task Force, Schooly D, Ozomatli. During this time A’la Fu found himself involved in numerous projects from DJ workshops, writing for films and even presenting a few television pieces on Djing, hip hop and even fashion! We can also catch him regularly at spots such as Xen, Ninja Tune’s monthly night or djing for Roots Manuva, New Flesh and the rest of the Big Dada family. More recently A’la Fu has completed a recording for the new Big Dada compilation Extra Yard and has featured as a guest Dj on Ninja’s Solid Steel radio show. On the solo tip Dee J A’la Fu last year released his fourth CD, Radio Skool featuring Maseo (De La Soul) and Juice Aleem (New Flesh) which has been critically acclaimed worldwide as well as being a top five seller in New York’s Turntable Lab store alongside DJ Shadow and Coldcut. Toastie was born and brought up in Grenada. His father is a renowned strong man who used to pull aeroplanes with his teeth and who was also Kevin Keegan’s personal trainer for a while! When Toastie was nine his dad relocated the family to the UK. Toastie began rhyming after meeting Keith Hopwell at a warehouse studio he ran for a while. There the mates he was with made him ‘audition’. A true original, Juice Aleem grew up in Birmingham, first in the inner city and then out in the suburbs. He moved out of the inner city supposedly for a better life but it was worse. At school he was "always the guy rapping and singing at the back of the class before I even knew what it was - changing up the lyrics to pop songs". While he got into hip hop in about 1982 and started joining breaking crews, his home life provided a broader musical environment: "Reggae, pop, rap, West Indian background - calypso, soca, rocksteady, Studio One, Blue Beat. Dennis Brown as well as James Brown.". The press conference will be held in the ISR-Plaza (Khazar Conference room) on 26 September 2003 at 16:00

Соглашусь, что на эту тему уже достаточно высказались, но недавно, прочитав, одну статью высылаю для самых терпеливых кто сможет дочитать до конца... - “Телегония, или влияние первого самца”. Выяснилось, что подобное явление распространяется и на людей. Оказалось, что на потомство женщины влияют все ее предыдущие половые партнеры. И особенно - первый мужчина. Именно он, а не будущий отец ребенка, закладывает генофонд потомства каждой женщины, вне зависимости от того, когда и от кого она будет рожать своих детей. Он, нарушивший девственность, становится как бы генным отцом всех будущих детей женщины. Попадая в женский организм, сперматозоиды оставляют часть своей генетической информации в незрелых, ждущих своего часа яйцеклетках, не оплодотворяя их при этом. ..... В эту пьяную ночь Я кричу вверх истошно: "Ты же можешь помочь!!!!!!!!!! Пусть все "пусть" будут ложью!!!!!!!!!!" ... В это раннее утро Промолчу, лишь добавлю; Как мне жаль, что порой "пусть" бывает и правдой...

Люблю писать письма… Ведь бумага или же пусть тот самый вёрдовский лист всегда готов принять мысли… И дело тут вовсе не в творческом вдохновении, а скорее в том, что в письмах выплескиваешь из себя то, чем была томима твоя душа… Выплескиваешь накал страстей, скомканные чувства, прожеванную обиду, которую никогда не выскажешь, или просто пишешь бред адресату. Все бы ничего… Только… Я тоже люблю писать письма, длинные и чтобы то, что накопилось в душе, ровной строчкой легло на бумагу и при этом отлегло на сердце от собственных мыслей. Ты знаешь, я думаю в это безумное время, когда житейский вопрос "как дела" приравнивается к формальному приветствию мы нуждаемся в письмах без адресата: До востребования... И наши души тихо ждут, что кто-то все таки откликнется...
