These days starts at Madrid, at the Tribunal Supremo, the trial about the secessionists facts in Catalonia in 2017. At the same time, the Government can't go on with the State's General Budgets Law, precisely because the secessionists catalonian parties don't support the weak position of the government party, the Pedro Sanchez's PSOE. And I say Perdro Sanchez´s PSOE, because, we must remeber, the PSOE, socialyst party, won the government through a motion of censure. I mean, without a concret project, without the candidates for be Minister. In fact, some of the members of the new government dimised in the first week like a Minister. And a PSOE who doesn't suport absolutely to his leader, mainly for the catalonian problem. Both of them facts will open, sure, very important questions about the relationship beetwen Spain, and Catalonia, and Azerbaijan, with the Nagorno – Karabakh problem. About the trial. The secessionists leaders, tries to appear like a martyr of democracy, and want to show to the world that Spain is a repressive country, who wants to press the Catalonian people, and show that this trial, in fact, will be an international trial against Spain. A country that only thinks about the territorial integrity. Curious dictatorship, where the President of the Catalonian Government, Generalitat de Catalunya, Quim Torra, furious secessionist, can live in the palace where live all the Presidents, earn his salary, by the way, his first action like president was grown on the salary, earning more than the Presidente del Gobierno de España, uses an official car, and is all the day, with his party, openly fighting for the independence of Catalonia. About if the facts that are being prosecuted, and about if the leaders that are in this moment at the trial are guilties or not, lets wait the result. Guilties in a trial, because the trial is knowing about specific facts and specific people. People who, being authorities, earning their money from Spain, without the majority of the votes of the Catalonian people, wanted to proclaim the independence of Catalonia, breaking the laws and the Constitution, and breaking in two halves the Catalonian people. But for be honest, this responsibility of the situation is not only from the secessionist leaders; the same responsibility can be asked to the Spanish authorities being in no action against the illegal actions at least, two years before the illegal referendum day, 1st October 2017. The situation was not created in one - About the current Spanish Government, sourced form a legal, but weak situation, has in this moment, another big trouble. Obviously, the disability to give to the secessionists parties at the Parliament ,the only answer that they want to hear, the independence, motivated the impossibility to aprove the General Budgets. In minority at the Parliament, without this support, Pedro Sanchez must call for new general elections. In the same year that we have European elections, Municipal elections, Autonomous elections…… and now General elections! The perfect storm! In this moment, the recent elections in Andalucia, region of Spain where the PSOE, Sanchez's party, was in the government since 40 years, gave a new situation with the right and unionists parties pacting for a new government. Especially striking is the irruption of a new party, VOX, furious right and unionist party, who is growing up in all Spain, mainly because the non-action against the secessionism in Catalonia. And what about all of this with Azerbaijan? Actually, a lot. We must remember that in the Catalonian secessionist trouble, one of the main supports came from Armenia, creating a illegal and artificial parallelism with the Nagorno-Karabakh trouble. I wrote an article about this, “The strange an illegal parallelism between Catalunya and Armeni”, published at Turan.az, in May, 10th, 2018. Article who was strongly criticated, with my name and picture, in the main secessionist Catalonian newspaper, Vilaweb. Newspaper who organized an event in Barcelona, about self-determination right in Catalonia and Nagorno Karabakh, one year ago, where the first guest star was the Armenian Ambassador. I denounced it to our authorities, with consequences. We are going to a new situation. And the Armenians at Catalonia are going to fight again defensing the Armenian position in Nagorno Karabakh, supporting the secessionist position here. Be sure. And of course, with the new future in Spain, be sure too, that the unionist parties can be very interested about which is the official Azerbaijan position in this, I think that the Azerbaijan authorities in Spain, can take a big profite, if they are clear in this situation. Clear in the position, clear with the people, clear with the supports here, being actives in Catalonia…. And, believe me, Azerbaijan can take a great profit in the future, if, like it seems, the right parties return to the Spanish Government. with a possible declaration at the Parliament, condemning the Nagorno Karabakh situation. But if the next winner will come again the PSOE, is difficult to forget the betrayal of the secessionists with the Budgets. It is time to take the advantage of the situation. Javier Medina Lawyer
